Trained volunteers who offer companionship, respite care for caregivers, and practical
assistance.

Bereavement Support
Counseling and support groups for family members and loved ones both during the
patient’s illness and after their passing.

Spiritual Care
Support from chaplains or spiritual counselors to address spiritual needs and provide
comfort based on the patient’s beliefs.

Medical Social Services
Assistance with emotional, financial, and practical issues, including counseling and
guidance on end-of-life planning.
